In the Office of Parish Councillor

Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Bruce Knights has ceased to be member and a casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for Chappel Parish Council.

If by 7 July 2022 ten electors registered within the said council area request, in writing to the Proper officer of Colchester Borough Council, that an election is held to fill the said vacancy then an election will be held. Otherwise, Chappel Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
