Chappel and Wakes Colne Village Hall was opened in the late 1920s. It was set up by public donations and covenants and still operates as a charity. It is funded mainly by the bookings it takes for regular events, as well as private and village parties and functions.
It hosts many of the village’s activities, including the Parish Council meetings, art group, exercise classes, a “Stay and Play” group and the WI.
