Colchester City Council will be discussing the draft Local Plan proposal on Monday 17th February at 6pm in the Charter Hall. Members of the Public are able to attend or you can follow the Live Broadcast on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/ColchesterCBC
Included in the draft is the proposal of 5 additional houses to the already adopted site to the east of Chappel Hill and to the south of the Swan Grove, making this a total of 35 houses in total. There is also the proposal of 200 houses in our neighbouring Parish, Wakes Colne (Land West of Station Road).
A consultation will occur, where the Parish Council and residents can let Colchester City Council know their views. There is currently no date for the consultation being advertised, this will be made clearer after the 17th February meeting and as soon as the Parish Council have this date and links to the consultation, we will let residents know.
